Constant Level Oiler

The Denco Constant Level Oiler automatically maintains a constant lubricant level in a bearing housing or gearbox by compensating for lubricant usage in its backup reservoir.

Work operation
The Denco Constant Level Oiler operates on the primary air compensation principle. The oil level in the oiler body drops as the oil level in the bearing drops. This dip in level allows air to enter the oil reservoir by exposing the bottom of the oiler’s chamfered feed tube. To restore the pre-set oil level and close the air feed tube, an equivalent amount of oil can leak from the reservoir down the oil feed tube and into the oiler’s body. This process is repeated until the reservoir is empty or the oil level in the bearing or sump drops.
