LUBESITE 500 – 502 -1oz Grease Feeder NPT, Corrosion Resistant, Metal Base

Application

LubeSite 500 Series can be used on any equipment that has:

  •  Anti-friction oscillating, ball or roller bearings
  • Shielded bearings with seals
  • Bronze, oilite or open bearings
  • Requires bearing flushing action

Operation

LubeSite automatic grease feeders include only two moving parts: a spring, a piston with metering rod, and a piston seal ring. The design’s robust component strength and flawless simplicity achieve reliable, controlled lubrication.

The meter rod’s graduated grooves enable the bearing to consume oil only when necessary. When the unit is attached to a bearing, and the reservoir is filled, the single-point lubricator uses a venturi to release lubricant only when the bearing rotates. As a result, the bearing is never filled with grease. Because over-lubrication is avoided, firms anticipating some planned machine downtime may benefit from this. Bearing seals won’t blow because the single-point lubricator only produces 1–5 psi. Grease flow ceases when the bearing stops.
