CASSIDA FM SUGAR DISSOLVING FLUID

CASSIDA FM SUGAR DISSOLVING FLUID is an emulsifying oil-based concentrate designed to dissolve sugar deposits that commonly form and attach to machine surfaces in the food and sugar processing industries.

CASSIDA FM SUGAR DISSOLVING FLUIDWater-oil formulation for removal of sugar deposits in food and sugar manufacturing equipment.

NSF has certified ISO 21469 and registered (Class H1) the product for use in areas where accidental food contact may occur—manufactured in compliance with FLT Quality Standards in establishments that have adopted HACCP audit and Good Manufacturing Practice, as well as the quality and hygiene management systems ISO 9001 and ISO 21469..

Features of Performance

  • Dissolves the sugar and sugar-based deposits, resulting in an oil-based protective film.
  • Very lightly loaded machinery can be lubricated by the remaining oil films.
  • It can be removed by washing with clean water because it is a water-washable fluid.
  • Neutral odour and taste.

Applications

  • To clean and remove sugar or sugar-based residues from machinery used to produce food and beverages.
  • To release moving parts like screws and bolts that are stuck with sugar deposits.
  • In particular, sugar deposits are likely to form for the lubrication of slideways and lightly loaded bearings.
  • For cleaning sugar deposits off filter meshes and screens.

General Instructions FOR USE

  • Before preparing emulsions, the concentrate must be stirred (e.g., by rolling or shaking the container).
  • To prepare the fluid, diluting this concentrate with potable water at a ratio of 1:1 is advised (the lowest suggested dilution level of the concentrate in water is 30%). Higher water ratios will improve the ability to dissolve sugar but lessen its ability to lubricate and prevent corrosion.
  • Reconditioned or recycled water from the production facility should not be used.
  • To clean the machine surface, apply a small amount of diluted CASSIDA FM SUGAR DISSOLVING FLUID. Use a clean cloth or one that has been soaked in diluted CASSIDA FM SUGAR DISSOLVING FLUID to wipe. If food will be in direct contact with the cleansed surface, wipe off any excess liquid and rinse with clean, drinkable water.
  • To protect other surfaces from corrosion and the accumulation of further sugar deposits, CASSIDA FM SUGAR DISSOLVING FLUID can be applied neat or diluted and left on the surface to create an oil layer. These surfaces should be cleaned before food is prepared or comes into touch with them.

Seal and Paint Compatibility

Compatible with paints, gaskets, elastomers, and seals commonly utilized in lubricating systems for the food industry.

Handling and Storage

Food-grade lubricants must all be kept out of direct sunlight and other heat sources and kept apart from other lubricants, chemicals, and food items. Maintain storage at +5 °C to +40 °C. It is recommended that the product be utilized within two years after its production date, provided it has been stored under these conditions. The product needs to be used within two years of opening. It is typical for the concentrate and the emulsion to become somewhat less homogenous while being stored. As stated in the “General Instructions for Use” section, shaking the product before using it is crucial. Utilizing the diluted CASSIDA FM SUGAR DISSOLVING FLUID is recommended within two weeks of production. CASSIDA FM SUGAR DISSOLVING FLUID should not be stored below +5 °C.
