The body has a reed switch that detects when the magnet moves. The 55105’s gears rotate when lubricant enters it. Each rotation of the oval gear results in a displacement of.040 cu. In. (.65cc). Any PLC can be used to monitor the 55105. The lubricant has been delivered to the inlets of critical lubrication points, as confirmed by 55105’s feedback.

Applications:
The 55105 Lube Point Monitor is designed to be positioned at or near the lubrication point inlet. It is compatible with grease or oil systems (Dualine Progressive/PDI). Because of the nature of the intervals, appropriate filtering is necessary to keep contaminants out of the monitor body.
