TM-5 Pump

TM-5 Pump: The SureFire II is an electrically powered gear pump designed to work with various types of production equipment. While it doesn’t directly replace the TM-5 model, this unique version of SureFire II provides a consistent 2.5 cc of lubricant per cycle. Its built-in timer allows for adjustments in oil delivery based on the needs of the machinery it serves.

This pump connects to an existing network of SLR Meter Units, ensuring lubricant is distributed to necessary points. However, the constant delivery volume of this particular SureFire II model may result in lower pressure within the SLR system compared to the original TM-5 lubricator. Therefore, if the current SLR setup includes a pressure switch connected to the machine’s controls, it’s important to check that the new lubricator can trigger this switch. If it cannot, adjustments to the pressure switch may be needed to accommodate the new lubricator’s operating pressure, or a replacement of the pressure switch might be required to ensure compatibility.
