The V5B Lubricator features a motor-powered gear pump that ensures a steady flow of lubricant. This automatic lubrication system is initially set up by the manufacturer for optimal performance. To modify the discharge volume, you can decrease the pressure and consequently the oil output by turning the bypass valve counterclockwise. Conversely, closing the valve will raise the pressure and enhance the flow of oil.

Bijur Delimon Electric Pump V5 – LUB V5B W/ 1/2GAL RES TEFC: For maintenance, it’s advised to check the oil level daily and refill the reservoir as needed. Regular checks for any loose or damaged tubing, hoses, fittings, and connections are recommended. The filter group should be replaced annually.

 

To replace the filter, a 125-micron porous metal filter located at the pump inlet should be inspected regularly and replaced when necessary, ideally once a year. For filter replacement, specify part #S-222.

 

For motor replacement, the steps include disconnecting the electrical supply and system tubing, removing the lubricator from the oil reservoir, and dismantling the gear pump and motor assembly. After removing the necessary components, the motor can be replaced, ensuring the motor driveshaft and coupling are correctly reassembled with the new motor. The downspout and gear pump are then reattached, making sure the gear pump shaft aligns with the motor driveshaft.
